A Chinese Takeaway boss has denied a catalogue of food safety failures at his Aberdeen restaurant.
Owner of Mr Wu ltd, Eduardo Ng Puy, denied an array food hygiene standard breaches at Aberdeen Sheriff court.
The George Street firm denied failing to ensure its kitchen staff washed their hands after handling raw meat, failing to prevent pests from accessing the premises and failing to clean a knife used to cut raw meat.
They also denied allowing staff to rinse a cleaver- used for raw meat- with just water, before putting it with other cleavers and knives.
They denied parts of the kitchen were left with a build-up of dirt, grease or encrusted with food - including the walls, microwave, fridge, sink and shelves.
The company also denied failing to ensure its food was protected against contamination likely to render it unfit for humans.
These and other offences were allegedly commited on May 18 2010.
Mr Puy 58, whose adress was given in court papers as 210 Barker Drive, London is due to go on trial at Aberdeen Sheriff court later this year.
